Seamless Luxury Meets Authentic Discovery

A journey to a place as remote and fragile as Escudo de Veraguas demands more than just transportation; it requires expertise, respect, and a deep local connection. We have spent years building the trust and knowledge necessary to offer this exclusive expedition, ensuring your adventure is not only unforgettable but also responsible and safe.

  • Certified Crew: Our team is made up of licensed captains and professionally certified marine crew members.

  • Exclusive Community Access: Through our long-standing relationship with the local Ngäbe-Buglé community, we offer a respectful and authentic cultural exchange that directly supports their families.

  • Commitment to Sustainability: As a carbon-neutral company and a partner of MiAmbiente, your journey actively contributes to the conservation of this pristine landscape.

  • Unmatched Comfort & Safety: Travel in style aboard our premium speedboats, fully equipped with a restroom, freshwater, Starlink internet, and top-tier safety gear for your complete peace of mind.

  • Due to the long boat ride and the nature of the expedition, we recommend this tour for children aged 10 and up. We are happy to discuss creating a custom, family-friendly itinerary for those with younger children.

  • While wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, Escudo de Veraguas is the only place in the world where these creatures live. Our expert guides know the best spots and times, giving you the highest possible chance of a memorable encounter.

  • The journey to Escudo is an open-water crossing that takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on sea conditions. Our boats are designed for stability and comfort, but we advise guests who are prone to motion sickness to take precautions.

  • We are committed to a "blue economy" model that provides sustainable opportunities for local families. A portion of your tour fee goes directly  to the Ngäbe-Buglé community.
