This route takes you through the beautiful contrasts of the archipelago in a relaxed and genuine way. We start at Starfish Beach, a quiet spot with calm water and palm trees where starfish rest on the sand. It is an iconic place to take in the Caribbean atmosphere without rushing.
Next, we head to Bird Island, a striking rock formation out in the sea where tropical birds fly freely. The landscape here is dramatic and full of life, offering a distinct shift from the calm coastal beaches.
It is a well-balanced tour that lets you see the most recognizable side of Bocas. Cold drinks and local snacks are provided on board throughout the trip. The beauty here doesn't need any embellishment; you feel it with every swim.
The stars of the show are Cushion Sea Stars. The large, brightly colored starfish you see dotting the sandy bottom are a species known as Oreaster reticulatus. They thrive in the shallow seagrass and sandy areas.

Our crew will welcome you aboard at the Pangea Hub. Settle in as we begin our 8-hour expedition, cruising out to Playa Estrella.
Playa ESTRELLA
Discover the beauty of Bocas del Toro at Playa Estrella. You'll have ample time to enjoy its pristine white-sand beaches, swim in the turquoise waters, snorkel and explore.
BIRD ISLAND
After our visit to Playa Estrella, we are heading over to Bird Island. Marvel at this stunning oceanic rock formation, which serves as a protected sanctuary for a vibrant array of tropical seabirds, including the magnificent red-billed tropicbird. Enjoy the unique opportunity to observe the wildlife in its natural habitat and capture incredible photos of the dramatic, jungle-draped cliffs right from the comfort of the boat.
RETURN TO PANGEA HUB
Relax and enjoy the scenic boat ride as we navigate back to Bocas Town.
