ZAPATILLA TOUR
This half-day tour visits two of Bocas del Toro's primary snorkeling locations. The route serves as a straightforward introduction to the archipelago's underwater environment.
We start at Zapatilla Cay, where you can walk around the island, swim, and rest on the beach. Before heading to Crawl Cay, the boat will drift past Hollywood to observe the local starfish. At Crawl Cay, we stop for a snorkeling session where you might spot parrotfish, angelfish, and sea turtles sharing the water.
Cold drinks, tropical fruits, and local snacks are provided on board throughout the four-hour trip.
The beaches in Zapatilla Cays are one of Panama's most important nesting sites for the critically endangered Hawksbill sea turtle. The nesting season typically runs from March through September.
